Message from the Superintendent

Dear Members of the Baldwin County School Community,

The Georgia Department of Education (GaDOE) released the 2015 4-year cohort graduation rates. Baldwin County is one of the school districts that has seen a significant increase in the graduation rate from the previous year. Baldwin County’s graduation rate is 79.8 percent - an increase of 13.2 percentage points over last year and one percentage point higher than the state’s graduation rate of 78.8 percent.

    OHMS educator Allison Bass wins Teacher of the Year for the district.
  • MES and CIS Salute Veterans
    Midway and Communities in Schools held their annual Veteran's luncheon. 
  • Baldwin County Schools Partners with Sodexo
    This program uses local restaurants and chefs to offer more training and recipes to school nutritionists. 
  • Substitute Teacher Training - December 3
    Oconee RESA has scheduled an additional substitute training class for Thursday, December 3, 2015.

    It will be held here at Oconee RESA from 9:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m.  The fee is $40 and must be paid several days before the class by cash or money order only.

    Participants may register by going to and clicking on "Create Profile".  Once they have created their profile they will then click "Register for a class" (top of completed profile page).

    If a participant has registered for a class before, they can just click "Login" on the home page to access their profile and register for a class.
